Echoes of Thought

300,00 €

In "Echoes of Thought," I explore the unseen architectures of the mind and the fragmented nature of perception. This piece is a tangible representation of how ideas take shape, sometimes solidifying, other times dissolving into the subconscious.

The work begins with spontaneous applications of spray paint, allowing for organic textures and nuanced color shifts to emerge. These initial layers form the ethereal backdrop, suggesting a nebulous landscape where thoughts reside. Upon this foundation, I build up forms that evoke structures, ruins, or perhaps nascent concepts, each rendered with a deliberate hand.

The entire composition is then encapsulated within a thick layer of epoxy resin. This process is crucial, as the resin not only preserves the intricate details and delicate textures of the spray paint but also imbues the piece with a profound depth and a glass-like sheen. It creates a sense of suspended reality, as if the very air around these burgeoning thoughts has been solidified. The interplay of light on the resin surface adds another dimension, revealing hidden nuances and creating a dynamic viewing experience.

Finally, the artwork is encased behind plexiglass and presented in a custom frame. This framing choice serves to further isolate and elevate the internal world depicted, inviting the viewer to peer into this encapsulated realm of mental construction. "Echoes of Thought" is a meditation on the invisible processes that define our inner landscapes, a moment captured where the abstract meets the tangible.
